Assemble the panel, attach the ground spikes, then press them into firm, level soil as deep as they'll go for the steadiest hold. Compact loose soil around the spikes, and in open, windy spots set the trellis near plantings or a structure for extra shelter. This is a substantial panel, so plan on two people to position it. Is this wrought iron?
It's heavy-duty iron, built on an iron tube frame, with the classic wrought iron look and a black powder-coat finish.
Does it need assembly?
Some. It arrives in sections that join into one panel, then the ground spikes attach to the bottom.
Can I mount it on a wall instead?
Yes. Add our black wall mounting brackets, or choose the black Legacy wall trellis, which includes them.
Is it available in another color?
Yes. The Legacy also comes in charcoal brown with a hand-rubbed faux black finish, linked above.
Can I paint it a different color?
Yes. The smooth finish can be spray painted after arrival if you'd prefer another color.
