Light Bright, indirect light preferred
Place near a bright window with filtered light. Money Trees can tolerate some direct sun, but bright indirect light typically produces the healthiest, most consistent growth.
Water Keep evenly moist (not soggy)
Water thoroughly, then allow the top of the soil to dry slightly before watering again. Always let excess drain—do not let the pot sit in standing water.
Temperature Warm and steady is best
Money Trees love warm indoor temperatures. Keep away from cold drafts, exterior doors in winter, and hot air vents.
Pruning & training Maintain your preferred shape
Trim to keep it compact or encourage branching. With consistent pruning, you can train a Money Tree into a bonsai-style silhouette.
Live plants can look a little travel-worn after shipping. A quick reset helps them settle in fast.

We’re building a curated plant collection intended to pair beautifully with H Potter vessels—especially statement planters and our iconic terrarium designs. The Money Tree’s height and braided trunk make it a natural fit for refined indoor styling.
Live plants are packed with care and ship on a schedule designed to protect plant health in transit. Here’s what our packing process looks like—from soil protection to final presentation—so your plant arrives clean, stable, and ready to enjoy.
We use wood fiber to cover our soil to help prevent soil spillage.
The wood fiber is placed over the soil, right under the foliage.
We then use a plastic bag to cover the planter and wood fiber portion of the plant.
Next we secure it tightly with a zip-tie.
We place the houseplant in a paper bag and secure it with a rubber band.
The paper bag provides a clean presentation and added protection.

Bring home a Money Tree that feels instantly elevated.
Bright, indirect light + thoughtful watering—and you’ll enjoy a sculptural plant that grows with you.
Is a Money Tree good for beginners?
Yes—Money Trees are considered hardy and low maintenance. Give it bright, indirect light and water based on soil moisture (not a strict schedule) for the best results.
How often should I water a Money Tree?
Water thoroughly, then allow the top of the soil to dry slightly before watering again. Your home’s light and temperature will change the timing—always check the soil first.
Does a Money Tree need direct sunlight?
It can tolerate some direct sunlight, but most homes see the best growth with bright, indirect light.
How big will it get indoors?
With time and good care, a Money Tree can reach roughly 6–8 feet indoors. Many owners prune and train it to maintain a compact shape or bonsai-style form.
Why is it associated with “good luck” or “money”?
In Feng Shui traditions, the Money Tree is often used to invite positive “Chi” (energy) into a room, making it a popular housewarming and office gift.
Is it safe around pets?
If you have pets or small children, we recommend placing plants out of reach. If you need pet-specific guidance, consult a veterinary resource for your household.
Is the plant exactly the same as the photos?
Live plants vary naturally. Height, trunk braid character, and leaf fullness can differ slightly—part of what makes each plant unique.
